We present a simplified interpretation of a beverage from a new drinks list. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that is loaded with the essence associated with holiday season, rendering it perfect for a holiday party. Save the extra syrup for morning drinks, puddings, or to make additional servings of this cocktail.

For the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
For the Syrup: Combine the listed ingredients into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the burner and let it to cool down completely. Transfer into a clean bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, it can be stored for up to one month.
To make Batch Mix: Combine every liquid ingredients into a sizeable container, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then filter it , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml of your cocktail base into a mixing glass packed with ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain into an frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
