I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
